英国 James McCabe 芝麻链钟

刚收到一台英国19世纪产的芝麻链8铃一簧钟，壳子是实木的，老外把机芯打理得很亮，机芯厚实，单机芯重量将近二十斤了。请大家欣赏。
Impressive Gothic oak triple fusee bracket clock, the movement signed James McCabe, London, no. 3375 striking on a large gong and playing on a nest of eight bells, the 9" silvered Gothic arched dial signed James McCabe, Royal Exchange, London, no. 3375 with strike/silent and slow/fast adjustments to the arch within an ornate carved Gothic style case surmounted by three tapered finials, 32" high. Sympathetically restored in our workshops, this clock is now in prime condition. Also included is an original associated oak wall bracket.
McCabe is a recognised quality clock and watch maker, listed in Loomes as working in London between 1811 and 1868.

英国钟做工比较细腻，用料也厚道很多，比起德国钟和法国钟来说，早期英国钟还是很用心的，特别是在18/19世纪英国有很多著名的钟工匠，比如大本钟的制作者就是一位。再有就是制造航海钟的，英国可以说是航海钟的先驱，有些人穷其一生就是做航海钟。

航海钟，确是没法形容，就是喜欢。:lol
